i upgraded from P800 to P910i.
i didn't upgrade to the P900 because it was expencive (yes i live in one of those countries where its not allowed to lock phones and to buy it with contracts).
but in my eyes upgrading from P900 to P910i is really worth it.
the extra memory, the better screen (which is made more scratch free), and the real querty keyboard.

only one thing i find sad about the P910
the querty keyboard doesn't light up. there are no leds under it. so in the dark its not easy.

@Greeny

You're talking nonsense, mate. As masseur quite rightly points out, you can't justify that the P900 is a "better" phone than the P910i (which is equivalent or better in every relevant respect) and indeed by arguing that the P910i is inferior because it has features that you don't use, you are admitting that it is, in general, a better phone. The fact that you then go on to reason that

Quote:
"i wouldnt need loads of memory on a card b-cos i dont load my p900 up with loadsa crap applications that have no use - like alot of people!
Come on guys it's a phone for god's sake!!!

shows that you do not actually understand the device you have bought and you should probably just buy yourself a nice Nokia 6230 and be done with it!

Hello dave_uk u r missing my point or just cannot read the original thread like masseur i agree its a good phone - it must be! its does everything a p900 does - no doubting it! i just said why bother upgrading to the dissapointing p910...... maybe an upgrade from a nokia is a good idea!! but wouldn't bother going from a p900 or even the p800 to a p910! the p800 is also still a very good (smart) phone in my opinion - but in all honesty it offers nothing of great interest compared with either of these amazing phones! bye.........

sounds to me like Greeny is trying to convice himself that his P900 is better than the P910i. He's on the wind up obviously. Voda offered to replace my P900 with either another P900 or a P910i FOC......now what would you do?

vodafone gave me my P910 free of charge, indeed better than that as I also got 6 months half price line rental and it was an unbranded and unlocked one from CPW

I took it! and you might as well too!

If I had to buy the P910, it wouldn't be that tempting an upgrade to make. But if I had a chance to do it for next-to-nothing... Like a trade-in or something... Why not?

It really comes down to the cost of upgrade. Also you have to use the two phones (P900 & P910) not just read the figures to appreciate the difference.

I was of a similar mind thinking there wasn't enough to make me want to upgrade from my P900; don't use the flip, so no use of a querty keyboard, P900 screen is still good, extra memory/duo pro is nice but I don't really run out.

I then borrowed my friends P910 and the longer I messed around with it the more I felt like upgrading and selling my P900 BUT I will only do so unless I can get a good deal.
