It's not corrupt. I sent it myself. And it works PERFECTLY in my S700i!

@milmino
As I said previously, it is more likely that it is a firmware issue.

hey all,
i'll try to be a bit more specific.
I had just beamed over bomber man (nothing else running on my phone)
I ran the game, got to stage three (0,3) and decided to quit. I pushed the top right key to quit and it rebooted. (as I said by two flashes and two vibrations)
Bomber man was the only game I installed, but then again, its not an installation since it's just a Jar file (correct me if I'm wrong)
I've just had the phone for over a week and its supposed to have the latest firmware.
Alot of people mentioned updating the firmware, can it be done online like the P series? Going to an SE store to upgrade the firmware would be a bit difficult for me since I'm in the UK and my phone is arabic enabled.
Just thought I'd share this strange occurance.
I almost had a heart attack! MY PHONE! MY BABY! NOooooo! Oh it works. *wanders off*

@amnesia
I suppose you could have your S700 flashed in the UK, but I suspect that this might delete the Arabic settings. Online updates aren't available for the S700 yet.

@Skrue
The S700's browser can't display all html webpages, just some. It shouldn't, howver, reboot itself if you try to get it to display a page it can't.

Quick question regarding jar files, do you download them then send to the phone, or do you have to download them using the phone? Tried putting a jar file on the memory card but it isn't recognised.

Like I said earlier, phone software, if it gets into a knot, unlike PC’s and the “Blue Screen of Death” are designed to reboot themselves.
It is obviously a “graceful” shutdown (e.g. the phone has done it for a reason, maybe it got in a knot and wants/needs to reset its self), because when it comes back up it doesn’t prompt you for and PIN codes.
Mine has done it twice when I first got it, but touch wood its ok now. Oh and its vodakfone(sh*te) branded

My phone has done this several times. Incoming call from my gf (at least 5 times, wonder if it has anything to do with showing a pic), wap browsing, and on one occasion it rebooted 3 times in a row after I turned it on! Firmware, without doubt. I have an unbranded S700.
