@Niji

You'll more likely find PRO versions in the larger sizes anyway m8. At any rate, the Pxxx will treat the PRO and non-PRO as a non-PRO. There's supposed to be an avantage to the PRO format, but the differences would be negligable in our case.

As far as release dates, SE's press release had the 1G MSD PRO as Nov. '04. That was quite a while ago. I don't remember having heard an earlier release date when I was in Japan. So I suppose your findings may still be true.

As far as PRO sizes there are 4G MS PROs available now through other manufacturers. I believe those prices range somewhere between 390 GBP - 400 GBP. Sony is personally a little late in releasing their larger stize sticks, but other manufacturers seem to be pushing the envelope at a faster rate.

P800 doesn't recognise PRO cards, at least i have been told

so thats not true, it wont treat a pro as a non pro, you HAVE to get a NON PRO for the p800

Yes, and I believe that 1Gb is the maximum for the P910, even when >1Gb duo pro's become available. Or has anyone understood differently?
