Mobistar in Belgium will offer in one or 2 weeks a dubble numbering on their cards.
So lets say you have 2 numbers on one sim card, a private one and a business one.
So ypo have two profiles on your phone lets say business and private.
In the weekend you can only enable the private profile and all the business calls go to the mailbox like if the mobile is switched off but you still recieve private calls.
On outgoing calls you change the profile and decide whether you or the boss will pay for the call.
Thats the theory as I was explained last Thursday by Mobistar.
Problem is: The profiles are handels via a menu on the SIM which is a kind of background. So, if you change the background (on purpose or because someone sends you a new one and you install it by accident) it does not work anymore.
I can already see plenty of SMS with backgrounds beeing send to NOKIA users in Belgium just to cock up the system.
I will tell you how it works but I will certainly ask the boss to continue paying my phone bill. I will never ask for that feature.
(If you have no network with Mobistar now you can not phone on this line. With the new system you can not phone on the two lines. This is what I call engineering

I've got 2 lines on my Orange sim card with two separate tariffs.
They are both active at the same time and so there is no need to switch between lines to receive calls, although you do have to in order to make calls.
I'm waiting for the twin sim holder that is rumoured to be in the making, but heck, ain't that the same with everything?!

I wonder if it is possible to "fix" the SIMs so that they can do a number of nasty things - inluding free calls, free roaming, line/number changing, and what not? I also wonder if there is a market for that kind of "products".
Now, don't get me wrong, guys, I'm neither promoting nor seeking such products and services, I am just musing aloud.
Cheers,
M'Swinger

Hi,
I managed to have a dual sim on my T68! I had one on my 8210 and when I sold it I kept the Dual-sim! So I took it off the back cover and fitted it to my T68! The only thing is that it does not fit underneath the battery as it is such a tight fit! So I usually carry it in a leather case and have the dual sim on the outside by trailing the ribbon between the battery and the handset! It works a treat! I swop between Orange and Genie!

If you check out cellularitalia and follow the link for GHOST you will find a duel sim with a battery to match called GHOSTT68i.
