There is no doubt in my mind that all nations have a right to self determination and therefore the Palestinians have a right to an independent state. The perpetuation of violence in the Middle East needs to end,and a peaceful solution needs to be found. Yasser Arafat will go down in history as a great leader who despite all the attempts to deter him from his lifes'purpose of creating a legitimate independent Palestinian state will not be in vain. For he will be now immortalised as a icon for the an Independent Palestinian state for future generations to come. Yasser Arafat will not live to see the promised land but his spirit will reside within its creation forever. No amount of force in the world can stop that. Look at South Africa, despite all the odds Africans liberated themselves with support of their international allies. Yasser Arafat named by Nelson Mandela as being one of his closest allies out of millions who protested against South Aparthied Regime. I think Civil society once again has a role to galvanise ethical consumerism to spead up the peace process By boycotting Israeli goods and services we can assist in this challenge to global security.Until Israel implements real changes needed to bring peace to the Middle East. The use of military force and suicide bombings has not succeeded, so far on either side and outside manipulation fuelled by greed and power on behalf of the US by its strong Jewish pro Israeli lobby has only made matters worse. An eye for an eye approach only leads to blindness. And as we all know that David slew Golaith with a sling shot. The way forward is around the negogiating table armed with a committment to equitable peace settlement. Let's face it is inevitable the only uncertainty is when. The spiteful reaction by Israel to forbid Arafats burial in Jerusalem is petty, for his spirit is free to roam transcending Israeli border controls.May Yasser Aafat soul rest in peace knowing that his work to see an independent Palestine will be achieved.

Yes:

"Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the fire and admitted to the garden will have attained the object (of life): for the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception." (3:185)

And some more. Take your pick:

"Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial: to Us must ye return." (21:35)

"Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned." (29:57)

The Holy Quran : The only book that has remained exactly the same since the days of revelation. Not a word has been changed unlike all other books that were revealed beforehand.

Why is this the case?

Thats not being pretentious, that is a quote from a member, that i didnt find on google to try and look smart.

Not to mention cold hard FACT.

Also, its just a bit of fun, unlike your droning on about any old tosh you can think of, without researching your views. Take a snippet of any conversation, any you like, and just make a snap judgement. Oh, wait, im sorry, you already do that.
