Right now I just used:
up - Media Player
down - Phonebook
left - New message
right - camera (I find this faster than the built-in shortcut key)

piettapepe setting 2 menu keys as the Left/Right shourtcuts is probably reminiscent of older SE phones like the T68i or T39.
In my case, I only modified the 'up' shortcut.
Left : New Message
Right : Profile
Up : Alarms
Down : Phonebook

one might argue that "contacts" is a waste since pressing and holding 2 has the same effect.
