I gave a try once for a 1000mah t630 batt.same result as with the original 700mah. Btw what does bst mean?

I bought my K700i in the beginning of september.
Mine is a:
Standard Battery BST-30
Li-ion 3.6V Type CBA-0000001
BKB193 174/11 R1A 700 mAh
04W28
The battery lasts two days at average and three max.
My old T610, used twice as much, lasted 3 days at average.
I hope they will release a better battery for K700 soon.
Hopefully a 1000 mAh Li-polymer one.. That would be great!

I believe the capacities on both the BST-30 and the BST-35 are the same. The only difference is one is Li-pol (35), and one is Li-ion (30). I think the Li-pol is distributed over in Asia.. why they would have the same capacities on both is BEYOND me, as li-pol is more expensive, so why include it if it does not have the extra capacity.

People, guess what: a 700 mAh batt, no matter the technology, will only deliver 700mAh, not more, not less. And unless there is a major technological change in it's construction, a certain batt volume will always deliver the same amount of mAh (OK, +- 10%).
By the way: Li-Ion or Li-Pol give almost the same mAh per cubic cm.
As a consequence, if you want to increase significantly the potential of your phone battery, there are only 3 ways: either change the technology, or change the size of the batt, or both.

@michka what would last longer.a li pol or a li ion? I know there are some rates for charging times, but all my li pol batts should be dead according those results.

Yes it is and I have used that 1100 mAh battery for the K700i since it was released. I also wrote about it in another thread.
1. It improves how long I can use the phone. Before, when using the original 700 mAh battery, I could use the phone a day and a half. It didn't last completely the second day, which made me charge it every night. This large capacity battery makes my phone last completely the second day and I therefore only charge it every second day now. I use the phone pretty much, so the point here is not to start a discussion about the capacity of the original battery (there are other topics for that). The point here is that this 1100 mAh battery lasts longer than the original 700 mAh - for sure!
2. The charging time is just about the same as for the 700 mAh battery. Placed in the charger, I get the "Optimized charging" message just as with the original 700 mAh battery.
3. As a bonus the 1100 mAh battery fixes the annoying cracking sound of the battery cover. This 1100 mAh battery is a little thicker and is covered in softer plastic than the original, so the battery cover is now very firm and tight. No more loose feeling or cracking sound from the plastic battery cover.
I highly recommend this battery, especially since it fixes what is mentioned under part 3 above. For those with a loose battery cover, please also see an earlier solution posted by me:

Sorry Boba, can't answer your question, I simply don't know. What I can tell however is that the figures given by the makers are usually very conservative, in order to have no complaints or not to be sued. A bit like expiry dates on food.
