There is a place called nokia(n) in sf, not sure if it has to do with the brand. Btw there are nokia tv aswell

heard nokia was into pulp and paper industries before they ventured into telecom.
and i don't know if this is true, but a large percentage of the finnish gdp is through nokia. (like investments etc.). is it true?
@boba... was /// a purely telecommunications co. or had they diversified into other markets?

i think you're thinking of the company nokian. they're the company that makes performance tires and rubber boots. they are originally from the town of nokia in finland but moved into a larger facility near the russian border. i should know, my mountain bike tires are nokian brands and they cost quite quite a pretty penny but worth the money spent on unlike their electronics brethen...

The headquarter of Nokia is in Finland and the big profits and taxes stay there! But the factories are in China, Brasilia and so on. The owners are Americans in most cases! Did u know that the mean factoryprice for a nokiaphone is 4.5 Euros!
