http://www.supertrapp.com/

I used to race in the classic class, and had one of these fitted, does the job, allows a bit of free flow with adjustable backpressure. Works well.

Vsnake, I agree that Honda can be upgraded to be a great fast car, but so can any other car.

But I just find that really silly and serves absolutely no purpose, not to mention makes your car look extremely ugly and make yourself look amazingly stupid, especially with a loud exhaust.

I bet you also have one of those huge rear spoilers on for a front wheel drive car?

I had a "FORZA MARMITA" or something on my Honda Dax 6 years ago, that was really loud and street illegal in Belgium, cos the f*cking cops took it off me and fined me for it...

Have you tried the Honda BBS?
Surely they will have some ways to point you in the right direction.
Alternatively, you could get a pipe custom made with no resonators or cats.
Alternativel still, re-route from the centre section and have the exhausts exit through the side skirts

Bajie, happy in a Scooby Impreza ... for now

You know, loud isn't going to assure best performance. In fact, a lot of these mods can actually hurt performance, like the huge chrome fart pipe, not to mention how stupid it looks. Sometimes you want some backpressure for low end torque. And those stickers of parts that your car may or may not have do nothing to enhance performance and make the car look as stupid as the huge fart pipe. This post was posted from a T68i

Quite right.

But the size of pipe does make a difference.
Most aftermarket pipes for the Subaru are are straight through 3" systems [some with highflow cats, some without].
A 2.5" system is said to be more responsive.
The backbox [those 5" hamster houses] is a matter of .... er .... taste ...

I have HKS SuperDrager which is "tuned" to be more bassy.
HkS Hiper is not tuned at all and is proper loud wakeupyerneighboursnevergoanywherequietly and is acknowledged to be better performance wise than the SuperDrager.

I am currently working on a modification for my T68i to get more bass from the ringing tones

No resonators isn't a good idea, you need to have the correct back pressure to ensure efficient scavanging at the cylinder or else you'll lose all your power, that's why the supertrapp is so nice you can adjust the back pressure to exactly the right amount, and they sound pretty horny too with a couple of straight through resonators.
