I totally agree with you sorac, but you should just see how many trees are already up as I walk home from work.
Mostly for the Children I suppose.

If you feel the Christmas spirit already then, there's no need to wait for December 25. I don't think people will put up their christmas trees on the 24th and dismantle it on the 26th.
