for one thing, if 3G is fully implemented you can get faster data transfer rates, you can do video streaming. It depends mostly on the services that are available from your provider.

Well I`ve been in contact with Voda, They want me to pay at least £200 for the privilage of upgrading to a P910i (Which i say is a bit steep!)
Also the same price applies to a S700 & V800!
Anybody got any tips on how to get the price down.. I Had one suggestion to wait until after Christmas..

Definatley worth a look if you say so.. So what advantages would i have in owning either of these phones??
Plus points on both phones please
Also Does anybody have any tricks up their sleeve on how to get a good bargainj from Voda?? I got a cracking deal last year, however this year they seemed to have tightened their money belts!!

Since you are a Voda customer, go to V800, for 3G access and keep your P900 for other functions, like Symbian applications...

I was in a similar position to u, the other week. Had P900 and was considering P910i, V800, S700i as my next phone.
I've kept my P900, and now have a shiny silver Nokia 6630. If u live in a major city (which I do currently) the 3G is very good imo and cheap because it's a new Vodafone service.
The phone also has:
EDGE, 1.3 megapixel camera which definitely compares to S700i imo, RC-MMS compatability which means large cards at very cheap prices (one thing that put me off P910i was the cost of a 512mb card...gees), it's UIQ so applications are good too (thing that put me off S700i). It's not everybody's cup of tea, but definitely give it a look if u're gunning for a new phone. If u don't think u'd use 3G, or don't live in a major city, then maybe P910i might be good. I decided not to because I fancied a change from my P900...it's a great phone but wanted something different to play with for a bit!
I didn't go for V800 because of the same issue with memory cards; didn't particularly rate it's camera for some reason, might have been a duff unit? It was a close call, but 6630 just won it for me. Plus I love installing apps on my phone! Didn't want to trade one of the things I enjoyed most about my P900 (despite the fact that I'm keeping the unit....the 6630 will be with me 99% of the time)

I was between V800 and 6360, but I'm fed up with Nokia's phones, after having 6600 for a year and 6260 for two months... I don't know if 6360 is has more stability than the other two models, but it's so annoying not to be able to view a missed call or check if your message was delivered, just because and for no reason the applications that handle them were terminated! And this was happening very often!

Yeah....no probs as of yet for me tho (touch wood). That was one of the things at the back of my mind, seeing as the P900, for me, was very stable and reliable. Not like my old P800 (triangle of death) etc. Time will tell with the 6630 I guess
