@CyberVisitor
I had a 2nd look at the photo. Not better? Huh?

I think it's much sharper, look at the bricks! If I take a photo of something, I want the middlepart to look great. And IMO, the pic taken with 3.10 is better. No offense.
Thanx for telling me about Davinci. Is it free? I'll have a look at it!

Hmm, seems like the picture is sharper in the middle, but cornier in the edges... anyway, it's all about different opinions aint it
No, Davinci isn't free, but the service they provide is cheap, fast and professional... I highly recommend it among the different sites that provide service like theirs.

Nice to see my pics stirred up some debate
I suppose it is all about opinions, but I think that there is definately some improvement in the image. It does appear a small bit sharper in the centre of the image, but as you said CyberVisitor the edges now seem a bit more 'noisier' in some places. Anyway, bare in mind that this is only one comparison and maybe performance has greatly increased under other conditions. For example (although I have not tested/compared this a lot) I found that the pictures were a lot less noisy when using the light, i.e. when in dark conditions.
@juleyah
I used the total multiserver software to update mine, but if I were you I would look into the DaVinci software, as suggested by CyberVisitor. Mainly because they have apparently found a way to mute the shutter sound when in silent mode, and i'm considering trying it out myself - especially if there is no solution when using the total multiserver option.
@CyberVisitor
Spot on there, R2AE is definately the best... almost perfection in fact. Its amazing how much they have increased the menu speed since the first firmware version.

How much does it cost then? (approx.) You're talking to a poor student here...
Can I also get the camera updated there aswell?

You can't really compare the two pictures, can you? They are taken from slightly different places and with slightly different angles both horizontally and vertically. Based upon artifacts in the background not being there in both pictures, they are probably taken on different days, and therefore probably at different times of day. They seem to be taken in daylight from a window, which will be different on different days based on weather and time-of-day.
So we can not really know anything about v. 3.9 vs. v. 3.10 based on this test.

@HjJ
Correct! I think that most of us "want" the new camera version to be better since we're dissapointed about the camera in the K700i. Fact is that there's not probably much Sony Ericsson can do about it... if we want a better camera we will have to wait for a new hardware version of the K700i. I hope to see a new version/modell of the K700i next year... I like the phone very much, I just want a megapixel camera in it and it's perfect in my opinion...

Im not really too sure of my phones history, but can anyone tell me what software/ site i can get to update the firmware so its right.
If anyone knows how to get the tmobile operator things off the phone too it would be helpfull.
thanks very much, Andy
