Ok I'm a guy that hates Vodafone branded F500i and flashed it myself to a K500i.
I purchased a cheap cable of 5 euros from some place in the Netherlands that was good enough for unlocking.
I used Total Multi Server and debranded it to a K500i with firmware R2AA003.
And I can say you one thing... It Is Worth It!!

yea you need a t28 cable dont you otherwise i might just try it myself because i only have a k500 cable.

Another little known difference between the k500 and f500 is java implementation. f500 scores less in javabenchmark
