I too get the same sound sometimes when i write down messages or so......... number of times i have cleaned it out with moist cloth cotten etc etc... but it jsut keeps on going at its own............ I however dont see any scratches on screen that might cause it...... However i think i need to go for a screen protector.... that would be a great idea...

Always get a screen protector whether you use the stylus alot or not at all. The screen protector is your only defense against scratches.

Remember that... when you first get your phone, go out and invest in a Martin Fields screen protector. You will not regret it. My phone had one since day 1.

I clean my screen (with the protector) every night, and twice on Sundays. If it gets dirty, don't let the dirt settle or whatever. Clean it immediately. I walk around with tons of different type of cloth to clean the phone. The ones I use for my glasses and stuff.

@adidas

i dont know how long you had your 910 or if this applies to you,
but a difference i noticed from the p800 to the p900 was that the p900 had a thin protective layer when you first got it and started to use it, after a short time this layer is worn down and it will work smoothly......

Well, since we are discussing on cleaning the screen, when you damp the cloth, what kind of cleaner does one use really?

When you look for scratches, turn of the screen (it should be dark). Use a strong light (the sun is best) and turn the phone from side to side to look for scratches.
If you often use hand writing recognition and don't find scratches with the metod i described i've be surprised.
I now use symMobile scratch resistand and have also used Martin Fields, M F is clearer and the screen looks brighter and more contrasty with it than with SymMobile. SymMobile is yet my choise because it is sooo scratch resistant and you don't have to clean it so often as you must do with Martin Fields. Observe that there are two sorts of SymMobile, the scratch resistant and the super.clear.

Do you think is ok to use those computer screen wipe (anti-static). the wipe is a little damp so i'm not sure to use it or now just incase the liquid go into the screen.

anyone try before??

I shouldn't worry about getting the screen damp - i dropped my phone in 12" deep boiling water, and the screen was soaked to the core. The water stayed inside the screen for several weeks afterwards, but still continued to work fine! A damp cloth will not damage your screen, as long as you make sure you dry it afterwards.

Hope this helps.

These are ok to use, i use them and think that that's the best way to clean the screen.
The sort i use have one wet wipe and one dry to use after.

Sorry for my English, not always sure if i use the right words?

Best thing i find is a dry or very mildly moist microfibre cloth. Its ok to use fluids etc, but i give it a dry clean regularly, so i dont have to use fluids.
