Yeah, if sooooo then I'll be waiting for ceBit or CEBit or however you write it!
Anyway, hopefully a new touchscreen device will come out, and Clara should be very promising indeed!

bah SE frustrates me. They didnt release anything on 19 th sep and nothing before christmas. F700 will be old before itīs out with SE:s product planning. How come Samsung and Lg grows and expands but SE just loose their positions.

it would be kind of strange if SE would introduce new phones jan 18.
CES was a big event for a wide public. an SE press presentation is only for jounalists and some vips.
but like said here before, by the time SE introduces/launches new phones they'll be out of date.

Guys just because we all get excited by creating false expectations from SE, does not mean that SE is doing their job badly!
Everybody always seems to complain that SE is always too late, the never release any phones, etc etc... But we all have to realise that SE does not have a budget and the infrastructure to release 3 phones every month for the next 12 years. They are a small company trying to establish itself in the market. The WTA sponsorship in my opinion was a very wise move. Big companies like Mercedes Benz, Rolex, ABN AMRO, Morgan Stanley, and UBS sponsor tennis events and it is a perfect sport for SE to be involved in. you will see SE everywhere with this sponsorship. It will help raise its profile.
As concerns the release of its new phones, i was always very doubtful about SE releasing new products on the first week in January. Never in Ericsson or Sony Ericsson history has such an event happened. It would be bizzare however i dont rule it out. It may happen just dont keep your hopes up.
3GSM Congress and Cebit are probably the most likely events that we will see a presentation.
And because people keep complaining that by the time SE releases its new phones they will be old, let me just remind you that Nokia, Siemens and Moto have presented nothing with the specs of Clara. And we all know how long Nokia takes to release products after a presentation. It presented the 6230 in October 2003 and released it in April 2004. So surely if SE presents the Clara phone in March and has it on the market by end of May, it will be ahead of the competition in all likelyhood.
So just a reminder, PATIENCE is the word.... SE knows very well what they are doing and as you will see when they release their Financial results in 10 days they are growing at a very good pace

BTW only die hard fans who visit all the SE dedicated forum will complain SEMC is slow in launching product. However general consumer/public will see differently.
Till today people in Malaysia is still looking for cheap bargain for T610 even though it is old and low spec. SEMC cannot cater the die hard fans to get the money for them to be innovative. Tht's why we see K500, J200 and soon K300.
Remark on the WTA sponsorship....too bad Maria S is now the spoke person for Motorola....else SEMC can get some extra market by getting some Maria S limited version phone out.

a main reason why we are asking/beggin for new phones is because the Kseries is somewhat bad. its like taking a step forward but losing some stuff underway.

And I feel better that SE releases few but good phones, rather than Nokia, who seems like they`re unvailing 5 new phones a week...
