if it still doesn't work, then take it to the nearest SE service center and have them reflash your phone with the latest firmware (although maybe something else is wrong with the phone)
best bet, let em have it for a few days and wait for it to get fixed. i had to say goodbye to my t68 because it started to die... unfortunately, one of my fav phones ever.

It is very old FW, and therefore unstable.
U must update its FW, and if you - for some reason - do not like official SE services u can take to any other experienced gsm servicer.
Updating FW on a T68i is a piece of cak/// and it is completely done with service cable and computer, no need for disassembling phone.
U can check fw > * < < * < * without sim, even with phone turned off, and connected to charger.

I have a USB cable and connected to the computer but it doesn't detect my phone,b4 this thing happened i already knw the SW of my phone it says R2B025 with IMEI 350376-71-061260-7-03 HR FR EFR SAT on,i just tried without a SIM doing the >*<<*<* but nothing happened,so its not necessary for me to go to any SE services?
