Nokia for me too I'm afraid - my first phones were mostly Nokias, I for some reason have a soft spot for their older models like the 3210, 3310, 8310, 6150/6210/6310 phones!
Ah, but those are from the days when men were men and Nokia actually made good looking, durable phones, especially the 6210, which i still hold in high regard!

Motorola.
Not Nokia; I have tried some and I can't get used to the menu. I actively dislike them, though some of the Nokia's seem very ok phones like the 6230(i). I might have a look at Samsung, but I am afraid I would be set back by limitations. The Siemens interface is too boring. I would further have a look at the I-mate's. Their features and mostly attractive design might do it, if I can get over the Windows interface.

The Nokia 5140 is a nice one too, very ideal when used in rugged terrain/outdoors. Like Mountain climbing and remote biking

It has a built-in compass too, when lost . . .

Before I switch to

, I was a Motorola fan. Now, I'd say

would be my first choice and a Motorola would come in as a very close second.
I still have a very big box of Motorola phones stowed away. And they are all still working!

I would return to my trusty Ericsson ///, barring that...ditch the mobile phone altogether...have used all other brands available...not impressed. So i guess i would resort to stripping an Ericsson mobile and put it in a vintage dialling landline phones
Sorry, but i am an Ericsson /

man through and through! Once you experience quality, there is no turning back!
