"if you have bluetooth enabled on your pc"

Paperino,

Newbie question: I have PC, not MAC. Do I go buy, and install, a Bluetooth card, and then transfer wirelessly from PC to t68i?

Thank you, Mike

if you got the hardwares, all u need to do is download the drivers from the SE website and you'll be fine.

Can't find the drivers on SE website. Would you please provide URL? Spoke with SE rep and they said I must mail phone back to them.

Thanks, Mike

Hey all.

First, I emailed SE support and got this response:

----
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Online Support.
Your message has reached our Contact Center and we would like to apologize for any delays in responding to your message.

Unfortunately, Sony Ericsson does not offer the T68m to T68i conversion in the US or in Canada. We apologize for the inconvenience but we have no further information on this upgrade.

Best regards,
JK

Then, I called SE directly and was told the same thing (no upgrade in US/Canada) BUT the rep added that it is being worked on.

Has anyone elase heard anything similar?

like what they said over a million times, it is not available yet. SE upgrades phones with the latest firmware they have. SE reps in us [1800ericsson] doesnt have a direct contact with the warehouse people that upgrade/ repair the phones. it's ironic that my friend sent his phone in minnesota and got it back with the MMS upgrade.

again, SE US upgrades the phone with the latest firmware they have.

A couple of posts have mentioned that the upgrade can be performed over Bluetooth. I have BT on my notebook and would like to do this but can't find anything on the web site about the upgrade. Anyone know the URL of the download?

Thx

I sent my T68m to Robb and got it flashed. I got it back in a week. I paid him $65($50+$15shipping) for the flashing and unlocking. After I paypal him I decided I didn't need the phone unlocked, so I email him and told him not to do it and refund the money for the unlocking service. He said ok. Well its been three months and I still haven't got my refund back. I emailed him several times and got no response. I am not trying to give him a bad name cause he quick with the service. But its not right for him to keep my money.

I would post this on Howardforums.com thats where he posts more often than here. Maybe you can get come help. I am sure if he knows you are still owned money you will get it. It's possible he just reads email subjects and prolly gets so many that he might not open it unless its from a new perspective customer. Just guessing really. I used robb too about 1 week ago and had no problems upgrading my T68m to I.

I work at AT&T Wireless. I was told by our SE rep that due to thier contracts in the US and canada with the SP's they will not flash upgrade your T68i.

I got a T68m flashed to the T68i software for free. If anyone interested in the Southern Cali area, let me know.... It works perfectly.
