Doesn't annoy me, what does annoy me is english people not understanding a word that comes out my mouth on the phone, yet i can easily make out what they're saying, pretty much regardless of where they come from.

Equal to that when people find out you're based in Scotland and they feel compelled to say "Is it cold up there today" (like were sooo much closer to the north pole) or "Och aye the nooo" (Other than Stanley Baxter I've never heard anyone up here say it!)

Well gang, at least here, when someone asks where im from, i can say "im from kilmarnock" and people will go "oh, right" instead of the usual blank reply of "never heard of it, is it norf?"
