I have thought about converting an internal one to an external but from looking at everything i need its seems no cheaper so i don't get it

Ok so i've got my dvd writer and now i see the point of the dual layers, seen as most dvds i've tried to "back up" are over 5gb. So where can i get dual layers for cheapest
