@niyaaz10 the t68 & t300 had attachment cams & could send the pics taken by them pretty fast, about 3 clicks and there gone!!! by the way that was about 3 or 4 years ago

But those phones didn't have "quickshare" did they? This only was introduced on the T630 wasn't it? This message was posted from a T230

As above, Quickshare came in with the 610, so ideally you'd compare every phone's sharability since the T610

It is a bit of a marketing gimmick now as other phones are made better, but its still a feature of SE phones. Just something to make life a little simpler. As some have said, soem phones don't make it easy

Quckshare may just be marketing jargon for the ability to send files in multiple formats from nearly any menu, but until last night I didn't really think about. I suppose my only reference for sending or recieving files using a media enabled phone has been an for quite some time. (My family all had older nokias and my few friends that had media phones all had T series phones.)

Last night someone tried to send me a photo off of his new Motorola (v550 or something) to my P910a it was crippled and complicated all around. BT wouldn't send to my device, IR was for sending vcards only and his mms didn't work for crap across networks. I thought it was a network compatibility thing until I easily sent him a photo using mms.

Hooray for quickshare. From now on I will take quickshare to mean that the phone works.

The process of easily sharing files has been evident since the introduction of the T68i. Sony Ericsson just named it when they introduced the T610. Call it a 'marketing ploy/gimmick', but in just boils down to the fact that it was a process that Sony Ericsson 'first' implemented and perfected during a time when all other phone manufacturers were having a difficult time with their bluetooth alone.
