T68i R2A014
If you choose to sms an iMelody, you'll end up in the iMelody list after you entered the mobile number! You'll have to exit the menu (press No) before the sms is sent.

well...I am not certain whether the ability to turn off T68i with keypad locked is a bug or not. But what happened was i tried pressing the NO button for at least 10 secs with my keypad locked, nothing happens,it just asked me to unlock 1st. Tried pressing all other keys and nothing is accessible when it is locked (except for the status bar where i can see my battery life, the profile which i am using and GPRS connectivity).
My software is R2B old 1,any idea whether my software is buggy (due to not being to off it durng keylock) ?
Thanks

this has been discussed before... it's not a bug, it's a feature
many Ericsson phones has the function to power off the phone even if the keylock is enabled by pressing and holding down the NO-button.

The only "problem" I found when using my t68i is that when I input a new task and asks me to set a reminder I press the option button to choose a date from the clander (very useful tip found here in Esato) and instead of showing me the current date it starts from Jan 1st 2000. Very annoying as I have to go to the current date by pressing 9 twice and 6 8 times, as we are in August. This dosn't happen all the time but does happen, has anyone else ever experinced it? My phone is R2B025. Otherwise I LOVE this phone

oh my....pls try to understand what i meant in my post.....i was saying most if not all of the T68i can be off even when the keylock is on,but mine i cant off it without unlocking the keypad. So is my phone buggy?
BTW the question i posted was just out of curiousity since ppl confirmed that they can off it and i cant. It doesnt matter to me even if 'not being to off my phone during keylock' is a bug coz i wont wan that feature anyway. It just feels better getting to know our mobile phone and its software thoroughly, not to mention that the price we paid is for the ownership of the hardware and the software in that particular phone itself.
Anyway thanks for spending the time in replying my previous post although u dun get what i meant.

Think it's just you. I have R2B aswell and I can turn it off by pressing and holding down the NO button whilst in keylock mode.

hi all

i guess it's a matter of personal preference ... i used to use a motorola unit and if a message arrives while i'm replying to another message, i get a prompt, asks me if i want to open it, and if i answer no and get back to the message i was replying, i loose my trail of thoughts. i'm use sms heavily so the feature t68i has is something i'm quite happy with.

i have some software bug(??) in my firmware. my erix also hangs while playing and my wap and data accounts gets reset everytime i turn my phone off. just wanted to confirm that it is indeed a bug.
