Yeah that really makes a lot of sense.. like buying a car and fitting it with remote control so you can drive it from your motorcycle..
Open your eyes Mac fans and smell the air. If Mac is Sooo superior *which they ainīt btw* how come 98 out of 100 home computers are PCīs running i386/Windows? Tell me that please. It has also been established time and time again that PCīs are at least as powerful as Macs. Yes i know everything about CPU architecture and Macs are more efficient and all that jazz, but the PC beats/equals it on pure muscle/CPU-speed anyway, so please, resume playing with your Macs, but donīt go on any Don Quixote crusades. You WILL lose

EDIT: Now that steam pressure is back to normal, i might add that i donīt have anything against Macīs at least not the post G3,OS X ones. I just would never dream of buying one at extortionate price just because itīs a Mac and will be beaten by a PC at 2/3 the price. And donīt even get me started on availability of games and applications.. Unless youīre on a unlimited budget, that factor alone rule Mac out as a sensible choice iīm afraid.

Actually the reason PCs are better than Macs is because something called choise. You know the thingy where you go to a store pick your motherboard, processor and everything else. And Apple probably was very early on opening an online ordering system, it stopped people from asking for ifries and a idiet icoke with their iMac
Actually I Macs are good for business but only if you have a PC too for games and stuff.

+1 for the PC's I say. We're not restricted in software, we don't have to run windows, and the systems are more cost effective.
The days of the beige box are over, PC's are VERY smart now a days.
I've had a long running history with Macs as well. Yes they DO have viruses, they're just not as media hyped as PC viruses due to mS being such a swiss cheese security vendor when it comes to their OS. but Windows != PC. (many other OS choices out there if you choose to go with it)
Emulating a PC on a mac isn't perfect, afaik full hardware emulation isn't available - ie you can't use the DSS 25 with it right? (When i've seen it in reverse it usually hasn't been the same either but theres still limited support for serial and parallel etc)
In the end its all personal choice, which ever works best for you is what is "the best choice" - the mac isn't mine. Think different? Please, every mac ive seen has been exactly the same.

Worst Arguement Ever.
Hackers/People who create viruses TARGET Windows because it is the most widespread operating system. Any OS under constant attacks like Windows will have more security flaws exposed opposed to an operating system not under current attack.
Besides that, if you are stupid enough to get a virus in the first place you deserve it.
So I'll put it simpler: If Mac was as popular as Windows, it would appear to be as insecure.
The most expensive PC in the world, I mean the best consumer PC in the world, would outperform the best mac in the world

Although I do realise sarcasm is one of the lowest forms of wit, it is most appropriate here because it adequetly expresses your ignorance to reality, hypocracy, and lack of common sense.
Motherboards are called motherboards by convention, trying to change a convention, for the sake of being different, makes unnecessary confusion.
Granted, macs ARE different, so should use a different terminology, which explains the different jargon. They didn't "try" to be different.
Buying a mac for the sole purpose of being different, or even acknowledging your own deviance, proves that you are, in itself, NOT different. For if you were truly different, you would believe how you were is normal

In otherwords, people who really deviate from the norms of society do so naturally, without realising it. People who try, are, well, posers who want to be different to attain attention from the society around them, which is, inadvertedly on your part, hypocitical, because deviating from society is connected to not acknowledging their acknowledgment or therin lack of your deviance.

MACs have a lot of nice bells and whistles and a clean design that works for people like you, who are quite simply, posers.
"Think Different"? Give me a break. More like "Try to be Different" or "Give me Attention".
As far as graphics are concerned, the MACs use the motorola chip, which was designed around graphics, the PC around the intel chip, which was designed around maths. But maths can create graphics better than graphics can create maths
, and in this day and age the phrase "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better" really exemplifies the situation between PC vs MAC.
You do NOT market different. You market for money, period. So does Microsoft, get over it. Apple isn't the holy grail out to save you from the evil clutches and monopoly of Sir William Gates, they are out for your wallet, just like any other good business man is

Apple sucks, period. Anything a G5 Apple can do a PC for the same price can do the same or better, as well as more.
