Your the second person who's said that she has big hands....she don't its the way the picture has been photographed..very similer to a fish eye lens...The lens basically magnifys the centre of the subject making it look closer or larger.

I guess the memory, communication and battery developments will have to go parallel to the resolution development.
Just hoping the colour management and quality will be as great as the cams -- our 1.3Mpixs are still rather disappointing.

May be Samsung asked Sony for help as they are experts. I suspect SE will make use of this module in the future. I don't think it was money as Sony Corp is massive.

S and SE = different companies, on one hand we might cry "why not just put em in SE's" but its probably being developed between Sonys camera devision with the partnership that they signed with samsung a lil while back. (Axxxr reported about that if i'm not mistaken)
Are the samsungs they're being put into though japanese or worldwide releases, if they're world wide expect the others to catch up pretty damned quick.
also saves money if they don't develop it directly

@tuisamo its not improving the mp count that will make better images, but improving the lenses quality. People are obsessed for mp - that is wrong. only pro photographers need 7 mp photos
