@davo, can't dissagree with you there mate, they are all pretty damn good if I bought another unit it would more than likely be the PS2, basically because of the games support and there's a great choice of cheap second hand games available making it very affordable (don't know about the second market for the xbox) and of course there's colin mcrae which was alway promissed for the cube but as far as I know was never actually released (most upsetting !).

Colin McRae was released for the Xbox (with major graphical improvements over it's PS2 brother) AND the xbox second hand market is pretty damn good! You can get good games for £5-£10 on eBay, and some of the more medi-ocre ones (not that there are many) for less.
But meh, I'd not get anything yet, wait for the Xbox 360 or the PS3...

Sounds pretty good then....we have a 'game' shop in my town, I picked up the 1st splinter cell for £8 for gamecube. Lots of bargains out there.
@titanium_boy yeh family pc great as long as ya graphic cards up to the job etc. i've also read that in some cases pc game graphics altho capable of doing a better job quite often aren't always as good as a games machine due to developers having to consider that a pc user won't neccessarily have a high end graphics card therefor they have to consider programing for a wide range of cards and abilitys, this means that games machines will get thew better deal as the developer is designing for one spec ie: xbox and can therefore develop to the max.

If you haven't seen DOOM3 or S/C CHAOS THEORY running on XBOX go get em now! PS2's GRAN TURISMO 4 is cool so is but FORZA MOTORSPORT is on its way.

I am leaning more game cube these days, with the quality of in-house games from nintendo.
Still, its tough to argue with the library available for ps2 and then the smashes avial for xbox.
Gamecube...zelda. nuff said.

Yeah agreed. Or Doom 3.
Xbox is easily the best.

PS2, XBOX and Gamecube for me. PS2 is are the pace setters and they know how to tap into people and make them want a PS2.
