Sorry mate
Some time ago I was doing the same-doesn't matter where, when and so on. But now they rise the prices of GPRS so only the PC left for me.

Here in Norway (Netcom) the price on GPRS are US$ about 3,5 pro megabyte.
On top of that you had to pay for the connection you choose. (For me; 11 US$ pr. month + 0,60 pr. minute........)
I use my wife's PC with ADSL!
