S60 is not an OS...
Symbian is an OS. S60 works on top of Symbian 6.1 and most recently Symbian 7.0 (6600).
PXXX also uses Symbian 7.0 (with UIQ on top), so, it's matter of interface and not OS.

As long as it does the best that mobiles can its enough, whether its called Symbian or MooMoo (:razz:), if it performs to a high standard, like the Sony Ericsson phones do, then who really cares what its using!
