That sucks yaar ! Why should they charge for fw upgrades ? Motorola does it for free on their phones even if its grey. The guys at the service centre do not question if your phones grey or white .

I think they do it free within the warranty period. With moto im not surprised, they do it free for gray phones. I guess thats one way of trying to get more people to buy moto phones:-)
