Hmm, not bad BUT

-we can't see how it handles large playlists.

-the gr.eq. is rubbish!! Either I'm doin something wrong or it does bugger all!
Then u press that button in bottom left & it sound terrible! What does that button do.

Can someone explain how it works please.

Oh, and it plays 80kbps mp3s fine. Why do u all have such enormous files when 80kbps @ 41KHz sounds ok?

that bottom left button turns the eq on, if you change eq presets after that you can hear the difference big time. That doesn't mean that many of the presets sound good, but hey, at least its an eq for once.

Also I think I just found the perfect headset adapter.

I installed ogg and unreal players on my P910 along with some other applications and the original music player appears to stop working.
Has anybody experienced this? Is there a fix? I understand it cannot be uninstalled. What do I do beside using other players?

@Mik
Like I said, they all seem to be copies of the Winamp EQ presets and as such aren't really suited to use with a phone or headphones in particular. You don't need to use the presets though, and I have a feeling I will be adjusting the EQ on my own.

Which brings up a minor complaint...
There is no ability to save a user created EQ set. (though it seems to remember settings after quitting and re-opening the program)

Another minor complaint:
PowerMP3 has taken over position 0 in the applications list for FC mode, making it such that SMan no longer has a number associated with it. Annoying. (is that list alphabetic?)

I think it is alphabetic. You could assign SMan to one of the app shortcuts instead.

-------

I'll have a go at manually setting the equalizer then, what does the slider on the left do? Some sort of overall effect?

ahh, the EQ only works with MP3s. It doesnt work when you play OGGs (The kind of things that you can't read in the specs). You can move the sliders, but it wont affect the sound (turning it on/off doesnt make any difference). im using a pair of big SONY headphones.
its a shame. its a great player. it plays perfectly some OGGs that Unreal cant play without skipping.
well, lets wait for updates
ps: the EQ with MP3 works great if you use it with care! (dont pull a range of frequencys too loud or you'll f*** up the sound... and maybe your heaphones.... and maybe your ears)
