yeah... but surely the point is that the hpm-70 allows you to use your own headphones rather than the stock ones?!?

The phone should just have a headphone jack 3.5mm...I want to use my OTHER Sony Headphones..Look forward to it being released..I hope there not too expensive..

If your purpose is to use it with your own earphones then just get an audio adapter (SE fastport to 3.5mm jack) from doml for SGD$16.95 or you can mod it yourself.

Otherwise, yeah.. wait for the hpm-70

also, would anyone who has the doml (or similar) converter, please comment on the functionality of the product?

do you hear the phone ring through the headphones when you get an incoming call? (as with the standard headset)

when you plug in the adapter, does it set the phone to handsfree profile?

i've also heard reports that these converters are loose in the fastport and somebody posted that the clips snapped off inside his phone...
