There are a few methods by which you can modify the firmware to remove or change sounds like the shutter or message tones.
Personally I don't think it's worth the risk as it will obviously void your warranty so I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
BUT once your phone is already out of warranty then it may be worth considering.

@DJCreamz. It certainly does.

I want to know what differences there are. Hopefully someone will post them soon.

Before R3K004 there was R3B and with that version the video recording length was restricted.

R3K removed the restriction.

I would like to know what further improvements there are.

You wouldn't know unless you owned a previous version.

Thats cool as in the previous version it came with its own strap-on Microwave but at least it came with a spoon. The new version I believe does not include the spoon.

Mine was on O2. Do you have the My Friends option in the messenging menu?

Is you internet access defaulting to O2 Active and do you have the green Play Now icon?

Ahh. Thats strange because my S700 is on O2 and my original fw was R3B but it sounds exactly like the same as your set up.

Don't forget you can get your wap, email and mms settings sent to you free from the SE support website here:
