I would probably go with Sony too since I like their products, which are usually to a very high standard.
I only ever owned one Ericsson phone, which was promptly returned within a week. They looked like they should have 'Fisher Price' stamped on them.

I'd probably buy a Nokia..
Sony and Ericsson never made any really "great" phones before they teamed up IMO.
