Use proxy server.... I used it once to access esato when i got banned by accident
pretty handy huh

? and you can get proxies from almost any country and it's very easy to change the proxy at will.

You cant fully "mask" your IP, only replace it with something else via a proxy or other service. Smart hackers can still sniff your ip through the packet headers anyway. Bottom line is, if your sending and recieving data on the net, there will always be a trail to your ip.

about black ice, I had many firewalls, and most of them didn't let me work on activ mode in DC++, only in pasive mode. Now I got Sygate, that lets me. Does anyone know that black ice does work with DC++ in active mode?
