i have been using netscape all day today and first impressions are good! it is quick, very intuative to use - and the ability to switch between either the friefox or internet explorer engines is superb. Combine this with the use of tabs in the browser and a far superior Autofill function to that of IE and i think it is lookin like a superb piece of software so far! Though early days yet and i am expecting big things from IE 7 when that comes along later this year.

i love it, i've used it since beta and the final is very much welcomed.

VERY useful is it's rendering engine which allows you to use IE or Firefox

So is it slow or fast? lol

I've always liked netscape, hence why I use Firefox which works extremely well.

But older netscape versions had issues where the rendering engine could be slow as all hell. Then they kinda dropped off the face of the planet and that gave rise to the likes of opera and other browsers for the PC that I couldn't stand so back to IE.

May try netscape on the laptop though.

i dont know where you get your facts from but it doesn't disable it.

It simple has a conflict that causes IE to not be able to render IE webpages.

Doesn't really matter if you are using Netscape anyway since you can render in both ways.

And those who installed Netscape wont be using more than one browser anyway.
