I have return 2 k750i due to faulty earpiece volume. I even brought 1 to CPW and let their sales person test it and he agreed with me that it was far too low so I got it exchanged and I got a perfect one now and believe me. It's not related to the software. I got one faulty one software upgrade. Evn after the upgrade. The earpiece volume is still the same so it's a hardware problem. People should bring the phone back and ask for a test. Once got confirm then should ask for a replacement.

It could be a hardware problem but it might also be a firmware design feature to keep the volume under control. Try increasing the equilizer controls as Yazan24 suggests. Just to eliminate the possibility, take your phones back to the vendors and get them to check the earpiece volume. Good luck

Ear picee volume was too low with R1A f/w, but when upgraded to R1J the volume increase is quite noticable and above average.

thnks....yea, i undastand that....but dyam man....the volume is tooooooooooo low!.....i cant hardly hear the other person speak, i cudnt even make a call outside.....not that it was too noisy, its jus dat its toooo low :'(

Well, I am pleased to report that my fears have been unfounded. In my experience the in call audio level on the K750i has been more than adequate, and certainly a huge imporvement on my old 6610.

coming from a p900 to the K750i was a big disappointment in terms of incoming volumen. quality is quite goos, speakerphone volume and quality are also excellent. but the 'normal' incoming call speaker whilte talking to someone is much too low. it's decent at highest, but nowhere near the highest of the p900. oh well, i guess it's just something i'll have to get used to.
oh and i have R1A but i can live with it until they fix video quality in future versions.

coming from a P910, i fully concur with punkserb. i'm on R1L now, which is much better than R1A. but while i can hear the callers better now, i think it's still a long way from a P-series phone, and i'm sure that in a noisy place, i won't be able to hear a thing.
i don't understand why SE doesn't make the max volume as loud as in the P-series. if it's too loud for anyone, they can always turn it down...

Anyway, firmware upgrade surely fix this problem, I believe. But, how about the video recording bit-rate decrement issue? ;D

They will always say that itīs the first time they hear of such a problem with the volume! They have to say but donīt give up!

as mp3 in player mode. I have been using GoldWave 5.x to change the volume level of my mp3 ringtones and I have found out that when normalizing to 110 % there's less of distortion when playing at highest volume in mp3 play mode than with a lower normalizing value.
Even my mp3 ringtones sound better and louder...
