And smartphones generally have better in-built browsers that allow you to view the majority of html pages, also the fact that symbian is an open OS, you can install great browsers like Opera or Netfront. This message was posted from a P900

I have both phones and like them both for various reasons. For example, last week I installed a navigation program on the Nokia and connected it to a bluetooth GPS receives to use in my car. Worked a charm :-) But on my vacation to Spain I use the K750i because of the better camera. Good luck in choosing m8 :-) Cheers /paro This message was posted from a WAP device

I can see the benefits of the smartphone option, but personally they are not what I am looking for in a phone, so if it slows down normal operation as well, then K750i it is for me. Thanks again to all for your wisdom.

IMO (and experience) Symbian= OS on Valium..
Give me a proper phone and a PDA any day of the week! Or at least a Windows mobile smartphone with a decent CPU.

coz n-gage qd is more simple ... i mean ... it's a smart phone BUT !
the version of the OS is very old ... plus ... it's a phone with almost no features ... & the CPU is very weak & this phone is functioning like S40 phones .... it has no special things, like .. better CPU & bigger OS .. like hte 3230 &etc....
that's why this phone is alot faster ...

Can't agree with you there mate. Remember that the ngage is a gaming device. The graphics capability of this phone is excellent. And as far as the operating system is considered, i really don't think it affects battery performance that much. And with a 105 mhz processor, its far from being sluggish. The only power-saving feature i can think of is its (excellent) 4096 color screen. It lasts for 12 hours (continuous usage) without charging.

Whizz is right the Qd is powerful but still limited in few ways. However, if you want that battery life just purchase the bl6 battery that the QD uses and voila no battery life issues. Thats what in gonna do this week with my 6620!

Ya man! But when comparing the 3230 to anything scrap that phone. Buttons for calls and menu, edit and clear are very hard 2 press. Nokia should fire the designer of that phone. One major thing holding me back from the k750 is the "h " designation. My wife has the 700 and when visiting family in rural areas it gets no signal. I need the 850mhz band. North America.
