phone off means phone off it means it wont work or cant be used because its off, if my TV is off i dont expect to see subtitles or hear the sound, anyway, enjoy trying to figure it out,
i tried watching a DVD with the player off, strangly enough that didnt work either!

just curious, bt why dont u plus the phone in when you are going to bed, so it will have a full charge the next day? you can leave it on, and have the alarm.

Any simple phone can do it. In the Px00 you have more freedom to decide if it should do it. BTW this topic comes up all the time (just use the forum search to see) and it's a clear indication of not understanding what a PDAphone is. Have a plain phone if you want to have the impression of being able to use it when it is "off". The keyword is: it's never truly off. Is it good to you?

I think the phone alarm that actually works when it's off is because the phone is only in suspended mode (not off).
Just like a PDA, when you turn off a pda, it doesn't get turned off. You are only suspended the process (in additional to turn off the screen) in order to save power. One way to illustrate that is if you leave the calendar running, and you turn off your pda. The next time you turn the PDA back on, you will see the calendar screen again. This is how the pda works. It suspend the calendar process when you "turn off" the pda. When you turn it back on, it retrieve the calendar process again.
This is equivallent to the "Flight Mode" in Pxxx series.
Hope I am making sense here.

Most phone alarms work when phone is OFF.
Question here is why the hell doen't tjhe p910 have that feature?
my answer...i don't know.
but i don't know why some people just keep on blabbering stupid answers like....WHAT DO YOU EXECT? THE PHONE IS OFF!??
