it's up to the user to decide what (s)he wants!
Although, was it on Esato I read that somebody starts fighting against these pop-up windows when browsing the web. These pop-up windows should strictly be forbidden, because they open against your own will, while making you pay the bandwidth to download them!

I agree about pop ups. 3G and everything is going to depend a lot on the pricing structure...
As for the P800 not being that up to it, I think that as a pda it isn't going to make that much difference whether you have 3g speeds or just gprs, same goes for the still photos. it's the ability to download video streams, mp3s et cetera that would really love decent speed
