@ Vlammetje You wont be able to go to a service center, they won't touch the phone after you have upgraded the software to the z800 and then back to the V800i. They software won't work with you phone. Something about how the ID has been tampered from 5 to 15.....I tried and that is how I found out....its very frustrating
@DVS I think I know what you mean. SE software does support the voicemail sign on the phone, however vodafone annoyingly does not! You can set it up so that you get a text instead of getting the annoying call backs from voicemaiil. You need to go to your voicemail and then into more options, one of the options will have the ability to set it up from sending texts...hope that helps you

Two comments.
Z800
While the Z800 is technically the V800, it is not a fully recognised device for vodafone.
As there will be no profile for it, it will not get a Live! experience.
As it is not a recognised device other key systems will not identify its capabilities correctly, and it will be treated as a generic device.
Your best bet is to get the Vodafone firmware put back on by a recognised shop.
Voicemail Icon
If you want to get a voicemail icon alert rather than a text message or voice call alert you need to sign up to Vodafones "vodafone mail" service.
This is an upgraded version of the standard voicemail service with a much richer feature set. It supports icon alert.
You just go to
www.vodafone.net to sign up.
Hope this helps

Yeah I signed up to that a few weeks ago, I like how you can listen to your voicemail via you P.C.

Since this Monday, Sept. 26th, my debranded Z800 (former V800) shows full VodafoneLive in the German Vodafone network. It is just like it was before the debranding.
So they finally inluced the Z800 as a supported device. Other countries may follow ...
