Hey dude,

No one asked you to butt in. Erzatz and I are cool. He has his opinion and I have mine. Any thing between us, is between us. I have no malice towards the guy. He likes his P910. Been there, done that, but I did not like the size.

In short, mind your own biz. They have moderators here to police the threads.

Got that Mr. Child?

phones need a2d stereo audio profile to transmit stereo to headphones. Simple. A2D is not available in consumer handsets. This is why phone bt headsets are not stereo. The stereo bt headsets mentioned use a dongle plugged into the jack of the sound source - not possible with SE phones, so you can't listen to the phones music through these (P800 etc can, they have the jack). The phone will not be able to connect to the headsets a2d profile, only the handsfree profile.

Re: any ipod/phone battles - I'd much rather carry around a W800 with 2GB memory card of songs and good quality headphones, than carry an ipod and headphones, and a phone as well.

If you need your whole song collection with you at every hour of the day, then I guess you need an ipod....

Exactly. A phone and an iPod are two different beasts. I like to listen to my music with excellent headphones as the normal stock one are not good at all. This is why I will spend over $150 for a pair. The same with music, I use a higher bit rate so that I can get a better sound. A phone is not designed with this in mind.

true. I'm more than happy with 128Kbps sound myself, but yet I feed my car expensive premium grade fuel...

Everyone has different priorities. My music sits on my laptop and that satisfies my own portability requirements.

For me, a 2mp auto focus cam and light, gig plus expandable storage, mp3 player with reasonable sound and the ability to use your own headphones, all in a small phone form factor, defines a good starting point for a convergence device, so I'm pretty excited about the phones coming out now. P910 etc are cool but too big.

ok I'll just copy n paste it (from the link above)

Unfortunately no phone is able to transmit other sound than the calls sound because their lack of the Advanced Audio Distribution Bluetooth Profile (A2D). YET. You can still connect the dongle to a P910/P900/P800 using a 3.5 to 2.5mm adaptor

@ersatz0906 cool bro, didn't mean to infer that at all

I agree about the audio jack on the P9s, I really don't know why all audio capable phones don't have one. I would have thought it was par for the course.
