Does firmware update suppresses everything in the phone or is it just alright?

Thanks !

While installing the "K750 Update USB driver" the Windows says that
this driver may not be apropriate for your device.

Can this be the problem that is causing failure of my firmware upgrade ("error communicating with the device" message at 53%)?

I get the same problem /\

I follwoing the instructions on SE and firs time i tried it when i held down 'c' and plugged in the cable it said "USB flash device" or something along those lines, i installed the update drivers fine for this. Then it flashed up saying "New hardware found - K750i".....now what do i need to install??? Device manager has K750 under the usb section with the big yellow ?

What am i doing wrong?

well i've been reading all the post and still cant find the solution to my problem. i would appreciate it if you all could help me out.

the problem is that when i hold the 'c' key and connect it to my usb, my computer recognizes new hardware. so my question is, what do i do from here?

detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

and also, will this automatically update to the latest firmware?

thanks in advance for your help.

Download the Update service USB files first then, unzip it into a folder, after that turn off your phone wait till its completely off, press the c key of the phone while plugging in the USB cable- when the computer tells you it found a new USB flash device, it will look for the drivers, just point it to the folder with the unzipped files, that's it.

well i was doing it off the SE site and following the steps through there. i had a feeling it was because my phone wasn't charged all the way so i went home and charged it all night.

this morning i did the same thing only this time when i connected my phone back to the USB it didnt recognize new hardware but it did start the update.

so i finished the update and rechecked my system info.

before i had: R1A044 w/ a 3.8 camera

now i have: R1N035 w/ a 4.5 camera

so my question is... did i finally get it updated? so far i haven't noticed any difference not even with my camera.
