i agree, but as a user that has tested most of current avail phones in the market i can tell you that if someone works for awhile with

phones (s)he will get rid of other brands quickly. not because it's too powerful but just for its easiness, user friendly interface, customizable options and so on. (i was a siemens user and nokia fan before using my first SE phone - T610 - but after that, i bought K700i and i can't compare it with all of my previous phones. the only one that i loved was SX1 - its design is something like a trouble but it beats most nokia smartphones produced in a same date)
new nokia phones are mostly based on symbian os, so nokia programmers never work on new stuff at all. only some hardware will be optimized when a new model comes to stores such as camera, internal memory and screen resolution and also the design.
but if we compare

products, we can easily find new and amazing features in every new model. a good example here is the difference between K700 and K750 (as you already mentioned).
even if we compare SE smartphones with nokia we can't imagine the differences between P-series (even the old P800) and nokia smartphones.

@aulason I agree, and to be fair some of the biased opinions are based on the fact, that as you quite rightly put it, the

UI is very user friendly and lets face it, probably has to be one of, if not the best on the market.
My mate uses a nokia smartphone just because he thinks he can customise it much easier than he could ever do a non smartphone, he doesn't utilise the symbians ability in terms of extra programs available but just so he can have a modified theme etc. His phone crashes, he has problems with memory card compatability and it has to be said is the size of a small brick.
Now each to their own, however, for me I found my first

, a T610, a breath of fresh air after years using nokia's. I then found the K700 a big step forward in terms of mp3 playback, better camera, UI, I could go on.........
I think

's approach to design and user interface, at least for me as a package, at present can't be matched and I believe that if my mate were to spend a period of time with the new K750 he too would realise that the

can be customised to his hearts content, doing everything he needs from a phone, have a superb camera in a more compact, nicer looking package.
