how do you save it as .png? I have photoshop 7.0 for windows and there is no option to save images as .png? Also i cannot save the .png images posted here as .png....Thanks

u can also try using the microsoft photo editor software. U can save that png. there.

yeah that microsoft editor works......Also, I restarted photoshop and opened a new rgb color image and put a picture in there, adjusted it's brightness etc..and now it lets me save it as .png...i have no idea what i did earlier that made it not want to save..anyway it works now so thats good. Ill save the image as both jpg and png, upload them on my k750i and post my results....

Ok i compared the differences between the same image saved in jpg and in png....and wow there is a noticeable difference. The ones saved in png do not have small grainy spots here and there, and are a little smoother. Here are a couple images i made for my k750i..check them out, make sure you save them in .png

there is this software bundled with the phone called image editor.
it automatically crops the image to fit into your phone perfectly
