It sounds delightfull scots, unfourtunatly after a bad experiance with hair removal cream that smells like cucumber i have been unable to eat them. So i will go for the traditional ploughmans lunch accompanied with a class of dandelion and burdock followed by cream tea's and a cup of PG

@DJ

I usually just have a pink gin of an afternoon rather than tea.

I had the pleasre of actually living near darjeeling - calcutta.
My parents used to blend tea at home and that was nice.

NOw that I am in Bangalore we have to do with packet tea wich is also good - I never was a tea drinker but started this year

I know there used to be a website called lobster or some such thing, which did fine foods. If they are still around they may stock your brand if you find it difficult to obtain.

Failing that Fortnum's may also have some reserves. There was a time when Harrod's would have been a dead cert, but unfortunately that time has passed.

I like to buy tea from F&M. I like their 'Royal Blend' (in a purple caddy) and 'Highgrove' (in a red caddy). Highgrove is a very cheery cuppa; I guess it's a Darjeeling and there's a good hint of bergamot (perhaps an Earl Gray mix(?)) I keep all my teas in caddies and I have Sterling silver tea spoons. I always use loose leaf and I always warm the pot first.

yes we are becoming a rare breed ryan.

Meths tea update:

Slightly hung over this morning, so i had a very milky, sweet mug of tea. It was a blue mug. The tea was a Brooke Bond Scottish Blend pyramid bag. The tea was lovely, and settled my dicky tummy a treat.

Funny,

I was just sitting here drinking a schlong coffee mug's worth of Earl Grey, thinking, mmm...

I do love earl grey, with a sugar though, otherwise it can be bitter. I like my normal, (tetley), tea Continental Style though, with a lemon, and no milk.

*sips tea, as its hot*

mmm...
