dont worry guys this is gonna happen. Hate it or not; believe it or not; this is Nokia's strategy. They did the same to me a couple of weeks after I bought the 6310 saying that they will release the 6310i with no upgrade for the 6310 user. I was feeling @#';@;#' and that was my last ever Nokia phone for ever.

Shit the same if Nokia comes out with a 7650i. It seems like what ever Nokia is doing is right. Because people will still buy them. My friends complain on their Nokias and I tell them to throw them in the bin. But h*ll no some of them go and buy an other darn Nokia and begins to complain again. What is wrong with this people?
I have now done so that at least some of my friends have an Ericsson and they are very satisfied with them. I do only say T68i.
You're are talking about that Motorola sells good. That's because they sell good in the US. Everybody has them. If Sony Ericsson can take China and the US they will be the winners out of this battle.

As you already know the 7650i is out in a diffrent form (3650)
the 3650 has all the features the 7650i will have.
The 7650 will have a few more features (the bluetooth is fully 1.1 compliant etc...)

you are correct about the 3650.
the 3650 and 7650 are both Series 60 platforms, the difference is 3650 uses latest Symbian 6.1 OS and gets the extra features.
maybe 7650 can be upgraded to 7650i

Maybe the 7650i is gonna be the triple-band (GSM-900/1800/1900) version of the original 7650.

yep nokia like the 'i' vibe - 3510 to 3510i aswell - I wish all phone manufacturers would get more creative about naming handsets - like the motorola 'brick' - rather than ths samsung/sonyericsson T100 - its getting to much. Americans like motorola cos they cant text & motorola can't make handsets that text either - like the V66 - saying that the nokia 8310 has that prob aswell -

I have tested the 7650 and I like it alot. Not even the siz of it is a minus ibn the margin.
BUT.
If it had the BT headset profile, I would have bought it. Now it does not,so I'm sticking to my T39 for now.
IF Nokia DOES realises a 7650i with the above mentioned improvments, (MP3 player would'nr be bad either) I'm sertenly upgrading.
