hmm my friend has come across a similar situation when he placed his phone in his ski pants pocket. we came to the conclusion that it had somethin to do with the thick paddin material inside the ski pants. but it did work fine when he put phone on top of pants, unlike urs.

The pants (Trousers) may be causing a build up of Static and this can disrupt the signal.
Other wise your phone has had an alergice reaction to the material and is telling you it doesnt like you new pants.

this isnt true
i just wanted to see what everyone would say
i thought it was pretty funny, and i got some funny replys from people
i sat my phone on my pants, and my network went down, but thats because it wasnt in a good spot, i mived it and it was fine
and earlier that day, i pulled it out of my pocket and it said no network, but thats becuase there was a huge storm outside, and i was in a mall wehre the signal is really poor anyway, so with these 2 things, it made me think of making this thread and i found it funny
haha sorry and thanks for makin me laugh
