The K600 looks like a great phone - shame it's a 3G one though - there'd be a lot more interest and threads on it if it was available widespread 2G!

I am seeing lots more people with 3G handsets lately. I was fingering a K608i over the weekend and it was cool. 3G is getting more widespread. I will be getting 2 of these phones when my contract is up in December.

On topic though, I think the launch of the K600i has been a bit overshadowed by the K750i. 3G still being pushed out may have something to do with it but it hasn't really been on the shelves for a long time yet so it will still catch on.

Why?

The only think that bugs me about this phone is the quality of the pictures. They don't look like 1.3 mp for some reason.

The keypad is similar to my S700i in that it is flush with the body so I have no problems there, like some people do.

i've got one. i've bought it instead of the W800i cause 3G is being lauched mid sep here. and its free untill newyear.
i was planning to go for the Z800 but they were sold out, so i gladly bought the K600.
i don't like vodafone crap so i didn't go for any V version.

the phone really feels good in your hands. best phone that i've ever felt in my hands, it fits so perfectly.
the only drawback to is are the keys, it takes some time to get use to.

the K750 is a very nice device its got a better cam and bigger memory.
but i don't really need that, and 3G i do need. and the front of the K600 is aluminium and thats such a nice feeling.
i think the K600 was designed by the same person that did th eT610.

and i also find that this phone should get much more attention.

@Bart. Is that true really?

Was it designed by Eric Aldgren? (I think thats how you spell it )

It is the design that has caught my eye above anything else.

I will be looking out for replacement covers too as I don't like the way Orange has defaced the design with its logo.

i'm not sure. but it feels like his work. smoot lines, true candybar, aluminium, silver as main color.

I agree that the buttons on the k600 are rather hard to press, as compared to the t610 and even the k700. there's just no solid 'click' when you press it. also, it feels plasticy when held, and they could do better with the lens cover which is plastic altogether and feels like it could fall off anytime.
so anyone comparing the build quality of the k600 and k750, for me there's not much difference between the two. the k600 just LOOKS solid, but doesn't feel it.
