Actually, I don't really use gnubox anymore. I downloaded the latest Mrouter from a developer site (can't remember where) and now my computer automatically establishes a connection with my P900 whenever I am in range.

Can this version of mRouter fully replace the one distributed on the P910 CD? Like supporting online firmware update, synchronization, whatever.

@ zol, try it at ur own risk. Its a developer edition. U have to un-install ur current verision first though, otherwise u may run into issues. I use it and it works like a charm. People is Siemens-mobile.org has been using it for a long time, and as far as i know, there havent been any complaints about it.

good luck

What I don't fully understand is what is the correspondence between PC-Suite (as a whole) and this developer version of mRouter. I guess they are not the same thing, probably the old version of mRouter is a part of PC-Suite. So what exactly to uninstall, before installing the new stuff?

Is it possible to use it with any bluetooth dongle/adapter?

@ garder, zol and lau

FIrstly, yes zol, mrouter is part of SE PC suite, and the version is very old now.

2ndly, to all of u, Go to control Panel and add-remove programs on ur pc. Check if any Mrouter is already installed. If it is, then uninstall ur old one and install mrouter 3 dev edition.

As said earlier, risk is yours, and so is any potential gains....

Enable BT on ur set, and ensure its in range with ur BT dongle (any build 1.1 n later would do). It should connect without any hassle, u know what to do afterwards........
