i think i may replace my k800 with one of these....any release dates? I know vodafone has september, but any other info?

actually the vodafone sign doesnt stand out too much, just hope they dont have a sign on the back aswell. But as usual, they will put their ugly branding on it......

Vodafone ROYALLY screwed up their w850i! What you guys DIDNT notice is the new placement of dedicated answer & hangup buttons on the buttom of the slide, harshly taking out the multifunction button.
W850i is growing on me in style; however I'll wait for ITS replacemnt, a 2nd gen slider that supports 3G in BOTH 850/1900Mhz for North/South American continents.
SE ingnored the EDGE market for way too long and provider contracts hurt them for just as long; but its starting to get acceptance lately. W550/600 + w810i with Rogers+Cingular (z500 doesnt count on Fido because they didnt have EDGE). I just hope that SE plans on getting in on N/S American WCDMA as well.
