Its not possible that one can access Gprs without activation.. It is primarily because girish hasn't realised that the service has been activated.. And let me make it very clear that the name of the network will not change to cellone g or something like that as quoted by girish it remains cellone only.. If you are getting the respected indications in your nokia or se then it simply means that the service has been activated on your number.

Guys how is the voice quality on gsnl gsm?
My experience: voice echo, voice break, sudden null reception, no proper network coverage. Is this common every where? I heard in rural areas and towns gsnl gives best service. Then y poor setup in big cities n metros? I think private operators are filling their pockets nicely.

Today i registered a complaint wit gsnl cc for not activating portal or mms yet. She promised in 48hrs it vl b activated. Lets see if it helps.
@Alan i suggest u also register some complaints n take complaint number.

@alands try getting the settings from www.cellone.in/select.html may be tat activates your Gprs also.. No harm in tryin ..
